••• UPDATE - July 15, 2020 •••

The Capital House Music Festival - World Music Event officially opens and closes summer every year. We lost our friend, partner and headliner Sam "The Man" Burns on March 7th. We work directly with his family to support Sam's legacy and continue to spread "Disco's Revenge" in his name.

Join us as we honor Sam and the love he shared to so many. Black, White and Brown, you can all get down. Young, old and LBTGQ, we got something for you!
YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT - NO MASK, NO ENTRY!!!

We regrettably canceled "The Summer Opener" due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. By demand, and as long as Mayor Bowser says so, we shall #SOCIALDISDANCE on September 5th. The safest course for our attendees, artists, dancers, guest, and community is that WE REQUIRE FACE COVERINGS and practice #SOCIALDISDANCING at #CapHouseFest - The Official Summer Closer!!!

Our mission is to move your body with World House Music, raise funds and donations for Inner City Music Programs. Our 2020 Charity is Living Classrooms DC and we are helping to build a music production studio for them. We want people that love music and supporting the arts. We've donated over $10,000 in services and equipment since 2018.

This is our FREE event for the community. We are excited to have a 50/50 lineup of Female/Male Performers. In our third year, 2018 we had almost 1000 attendees, 2019 over 2000 came out!

Chrysis Entertainment is our Presenting Sponsor and Fusicology.com is our Media Partner.

LivingClassrooms.org is our 2020-21 Charity

Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region strengthens communities and inspires people to achieve their potential through hands-on environmental and science education and career training using urban, natural, and community-based resources as “living classrooms.” Living Classrooms has been serving the DC community since 2001 with award-winning programming at sites including the James C. Dent House Community Center, the Kingman and Heritage Islands Conservation Area, The Yards, Camp Fraser in northern Virginia, and onboard our historic science education ship Mildred Belle on the Anacostia and Potomac Rivers. More information can be found at www.livingclassrooms.org.

Our lineup of local talent and grooving DJs changes every year! You're always in for a great time when you attend #CapHouseFest! Learn more about how you can help make a difference by contacting us today.
