The decision to transition "America's House Party" from a mass in-person gathering to a virtual one this year was not an easy one. Attendance and reviews of our events where incredible, we want nothing more than to get together with our fellow House Music lovers in person. However, in consideration of the extraordinary times we are in, and the possibility of transmission via large gatherings, we chose the safest course of action for our festival-goers, guest performers, vendors, and all that love House Music. You are House Music!

We will accept donations and will be contributing the proceeds of any donations to charity. We will be in touch over the coming weeks with more concrete details.

You are in our thoughts, please take care of yourselves. Abide by public health directives and advice. Remember, "It's about the music!

Join us for Capital House Music Festival on July 4th and September 5th, 2020 at Malcolm X Park in Washington, DC!

Our mission is to move your body with World House Music, raise funds and donations for Inner City Music Programs. Our 2020 Charity is Living Classrooms DC and we are helping to build a music production studio for them. We want people that love music and supporting the arts. We've donated over $10,000 in services and equipment since 2018.

This is our FREE event for the community. We are excited to have a 50/50 lineup of Female/Male Performers. In our third year, 2018 we had almost 1000 attendees, 2019 over 2000 came out!

Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region strengthens communities and inspires people to achieve their potential through hands-on environmental and science education and career training using urban, natural, and community-based resources as “living classrooms.” Living Classrooms has been serving the DC community since 2001 with award-winning programming at sites including the James C.
